Frequently asked questions

Can i bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity and catering, our event is strictly invite only.

are kids welcome?

While we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Where will the reception be?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Palm House in the Botanic Gardens.

should i bring a gift?

We are honestly just happy to have you at the wedding!

However, if you're feeling especially generous - any contributions to our honeymoon fund would be hugely appreciated!

What should i wear?

You literally cannot be too dressed up. Black tie preferred - we are going for a beautiful garden soiree. Extravagance absolutely welcome. Please don't wear white. Consider grass when picking shoes.

HOW DO I GET TO PALM HOUSE?

The closest gate to the event is the Woolloomooloo Gate, near the Art Gallery on Mrs Macquaries Road. Take the steps down and follow the path to the right, past Levy Fountain - from there you should see the Palm House!

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

There are limited (metered) parking spots available along Mrs Macquaries Road. We recommend taking an Uber or public transport if you can.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we plan to wed - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We pay respect to Elders past and present.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
